FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in devices for determination of change of relative volume in closed containers, associated with occurrence of processes of gas release or absorption in one of them, by means of measurement of pressure difference with the help of induction sensor. It has output electric signal. Differential pressure gauge includes U-shaped tube with identical coils located on the outside, which is half-filled with manometric liquid. In both elbows of the U-shaped tube there are floating measuring elements made of ferrite rods with length equal to the height of the coil, insulated with a fluoroplastic shell. Coils are fixed so that, in the absence of pressure drop on the differential pressure gauge, the centre of the ferrite rod in one elbow is at the level of the lower edge of the coil, and in the other elbow the centre of the ferrite rod is at the level of the upper edge of the coil.
EFFECT: providing positioning of the measuring element with maximum accuracy in the initial neutral position when pressure difference of any sign appears on the differential pressure gauge.
