FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to veterinary science and represents a method for pharmacotherapy of pyroplasmidosis in young cattle in postnatal ontogenesis, including correction of the basic diet in the spring-summer period and correction of the basic diet in the autumn-winter period, as well as the intramuscular introduction of the preparation "DAC granulate" in form of 5 % solution in sterile distilled water in amount of 6 ml per 100 kg of animal weight into the thigh area on the first day of treatment, on the second day of the combined use of the preparation "DAC granulate" in form of 5 % solution in sterile distilled water in amount of 6 ml per 100 kg of the animal’s weight intramuscularly in the thigh area, thereafter, "Nitox 200" preparation is injected into the neck region at rate of 1 ml of preparation per 10 kg of live weight, further, the preparation "Eleovit 100" is subcutaneously injected into the neck from the right side in amount of 3 ml per head per day, on the third day, the preparation "DAC granulate" is introduced in form of 5 % solution in sterile distilled water in amount of 6 ml per 100 kg of the animal’s weight intramuscularly into the thigh, after which the preparation "Ditrim" is administered intramuscularly in dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of animal weight, on the fourth day, a solution of "DAC granulate" is injected intramuscularly in form of 5 % solution in sterile distilled water in amount of 6 ml per 100 kg of animal weight into the thigh area, on the fifth day, "DAC granulate" is introduced in form of 5 % solution in sterile distilled water in amount of 6 ml per 100 kg of animal weight into the thigh area, thereafter, "Nitox 200" preparation is injected into the neck region at rate of 1 ml of preparation per 10 kg of live weight, further, "Eleovit 100" is injected subcutaneously into the neck from the right side in amount of 3 ml per head a day.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of therapy and prevention of natural focal transmissible protozoal diseases of young cattle.
