FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and represents a method for prevention and treatment of nodular dermatitis in cattle, involving application of viral vaccine against smallpox and sheep nodular dermatitis cattle culture dry "ShipPox-LSD Vak", characterized by that additionally simultaneously with the subcutaneous or intramuscular vaccine, a transfer factor of 1.4–1.6 ml per head for animals up to 12 months of age and dose of 5.9–6.1 ml for animals older than 12 months is used.
EFFECT: declared invention is effective for prevention and treatment of nodular dermatitis in cattle.
