METHOD OF PRODUCING PROLONGED-ACTION HYDROGEL PREPARATIONS CONTAINING HYDROPHOBIC FUNGICIDES Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC A01N25/08 A01N25/12 A01N25/32 A01N39/02 A01N43/54 A01N43/653 A01N47/40 A01P3/00

Abstract RU 2835939 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to means of protecting plants in the root zone. Method of producing a hydrogel fungicidal preparation of prolonged action containing a hydrophobic fungicide or a mixture of fungicides involves dissolving a hydrophobic fungicide or a mixture of fungicides in an organic solvent, after which the fungicide solution is mixed with the porous mineral filler and the mixture is dried to obtain a dry powdery filler containing the fungicide. In parallel, aqueous solution of acrylamide and cross-linking agent N,N-methylene-bis-acrylamide in amount of 0.05-0.20 mol.% of total monomers are mixed and aqueous solution of sodium acrylate is added with ratio of acrylamide and sodium acrylate (30-50):(50-70) mol.%. A dry powdery filler containing a fungicide is added to the obtained mixture in amount of 10-20 wt.% of the total monomers. Components are mixed with subsequent introduction of polymerisation initiators of ammonium or potassium persulphate and sodium sulphite in form of 2% aqueous solutions in amount of 0.05-1.50 mol.% of each of the total monomers. Polymerisation is carried out for 120-360 minutes to obtain a gel, followed by drying, crushing and sieving the obtained hydrogel fungicide preparation with fungicide content in amount of 0.4-2.5 wt.%.

EFFECT: proposed method of producing a hydrogel fungicidal preparation of prolonged action extends the range of agents for similar purposes, provides for the preparation of a fungicide which is capable of absorbing from 500 to 770 g of water per 1 g of its dry weight, which facilitates plant roots access to the active substance of the preparation, increases the water-holding capacity of the soil, improves its structure, mineral root nutrition, allows to reduce disease incidence of plants, to increase crop capacity and to improve quality of grown products, to reduce costs for watering of grown crops.
