FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photogrammetry and relates to a method of phototriangulation when creating digital terrain models with a reduced number of tie point zones. Method involves constructing a geometric model as a result of mutual orientation of images of a stereo pair. Tie points are located in four standard zones, in corners of stereopair two in each zone, for which absolute values of coordinates on images are maximum.
EFFECT: faster photogrammetric processing of images at the stage of phototriangulation.
