FIELD: oil refining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of stripping spent catalyst from entrained and/or adsorbed hydrocarbons, in which entrained and/or adsorbed hydrocarbons are obtained as a result of catalytic cracking on a finely dispersed microspherical zeolite-containing catalyst (FCC) of hydrocarbon material. Method includes steps of: a) providing a catalytic cracking unit, comprising a reactor-regenerator unit containing a riser reactor, a separation unit connected to the riser reactor, stripping unit, comprising a housing and successively arranged in it the spent catalyst preliminary stripping unit (I), equipped with the upper cone-shaped partition (3) with the steam distribution holes distributed along the surface, and unit (II) of main stripping of spent catalyst, and regenerator; b) providing the hydrocarbon feedstock with the catalyst in the riser reactor to obtain a vapour product mixture and a spent catalyst; c) separating the steam product mixture and the spent catalyst in the separation unit of the catalytic cracking unit with the obtained steam product mixture being withdrawn for further processing and obtaining a descending stream of separated spent catalyst particles containing entrained and/or adsorbed hydrocarbons, wherein the top of upper cone-shaped partition (3) is directed towards the downward flow of the separated particles of the spent catalyst; d) passing downstream of separated catalyst particles containing entrained and/or adsorbed hydrocarbons into spent catalyst preliminary stripping unit (I) and mixing with upward flow of steam and steam-containing stripping agent; e) feeding the pre-stripped spent catalyst into the main stripping unit (II) of the spent catalyst and mixing with the upward flow of water vapour; f) removing the steam-containing stripping agent, including steam from the main stripping unit (II) and stripped vaporous hydrocarbons desorbed by the steam in the main stripping unit (II) from the spent catalyst, by means of branch pipes into unit (I) for stripping of spent catalyst under upper cone-shaped partition (3), and separated particles of spent catalyst are taken out to regenerator. Invention also relates to a device for stripping a spent catalyst of a catalytic cracking unit.
EFFECT: reduction of losses of cracking products with simultaneous minimization of thermocouple deactivation of catalyst, preservation of activity of regenerated catalyst, reduced amount of coke on spent catalyst, reduced air consumption in regenerator for burning of coke, amount of hydrocarbons carried by flow of spent catalyst into regenerator, reduced total power consumption for process.
