FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad equipment, including device for coupling with railroad equipment. Device is made in the form of a tape, or a strip, or a chain, put on drums connected to engines, by its axes connected to a frame, to which an adjustable platform with rollers and a railway wheel are connected, on a belt, or a strip, or chains, rail grips with lever elements in the form of side forks, or clamps, or tongs are fixed, the long arms of which are in contact with the jig moving relative to them through rollers on the jig or on the levers elements, and the short arms of the lever elements are connected to the clamps for the side surface of the rail head, wherein the tape or strip or the chain and the jig can be fixed on a common base in the form of a frame or a bogie. Device can be a brake, and in connection with engine or other propulsor – propulsor.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of railway equipment and driving performance by improving adhesion, which also applies to braking.
