FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device for disconnection and approximation of flanges relates to auxiliary devices intended for mechanization of installation and repair works of pipelines, for which replacement of flange sealing gaskets is required. Device for disconnection and convergence of flanges 8, 9 comprises traction gripper 1 with stops at ends of rods, traverse 2 for attachment of gripper 1 and lead screw 3, on which traverse 2 is installed, and is also equipped with expanding plate 4, placed between the flanges when they are disconnected with the possibility of traverse lead screw 3 acting on it, gripper 1 is made in the form of a two-pronged fork with two rods and a power part, and traverse 2 is equipped with lugs, in which gripper 1 is fixed with the help of rearranged pin 5, wherein in the power part of the grip there are holes 6, 7 located at distance of 10-40 mm from each other, and rearranged pin 5 is installed in one of said holes 6, 7 of gripper 1, selected depending on disconnection of flanges 8, 9 or their approach. Between flanges 8, 9 at their disconnection there is expanding plate 4, and pin 5 is installed in hole 6. For convergence of flanges 8, 9, pin 5 is installed in hole 7.

EFFECT: simpler design, higher reliability, improved operating conditions and possibility of performing two operations with the proposed device, namely, disconnection and convergence of flanges.
