SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and pharmaceutical industry and concerns a pharmaceutical composition in the form of a spray containing melatonin in amount of 2.8 to 8.5 mg/ml and auxiliary pharmaceutical additives representing polyethylene glycol PEG 200 or PEG 400 and ethyl alcohol in a weight ratio of 1:1 to 4.0:1 and a total amount of 250 to 400 mg/ml, as well as gum in amount of 1 to 2.5 mg/ml. Invention relates to a pharmaceutical product comprising an intranasal device and a pharmaceutical composition containing melatonin.
EFFECT: invention can be used to correct sleep disorders, jet lag and to treat insomnia, as well as to improve sleep quality, duration and depth.
