FIELD: electric elements.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designs of electrodes of a gas-discharge source of wide-range optical radiation. In compliance with first version, electrode comprises holder made from refractory metal to support electrode working part made from sintered tungsten with additive of activating substance. Holder is made in the form of a single part and comprises rod and support cylindrical parts. On the rod part, the working part of the electrode and the tubular bushing are installed so that the tubular bushing is placed between the supporting cylindrical part and the working part of the electrode. In compliance with second version, electrode comprises holder made from refractory metal with working part made of sintered tungsten with activating substance additive. Holder is made in the form of a cylindrical rod on which the working part of the electrode, a metal electroconductive bushing from refractory metal and a tubular bushing are installed so that the tubular bushing is placed between the metal electroconductive bushing and the working part of the electrode. According to the third version, the electrode contains a single part from refractory metal with an activating substance additive, which includes a working part of the electrode and a cylindrical rod. On the cylindrical rod there is a metal electroconductive bushing from refractory metal and a tubular bushing so that the tubular bushing is placed between the working part of the electrode and the metal electroconductive bushing. In each of the versions, the tubular bushing is made of high-temperature electrically insulating material.

EFFECT: increased service life and reliability of gas-discharge source of wide-range optical radiation.
