FIELD: medical microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method of detecting the Classical type tcpA gene in V. cholerae El Tor by real-time PCR, involving extraction of DNA from the strain under study, PCR with a pair of primers with subsequent consideration of the amplification reaction.
EFFECT: development of a simple, fast and reliable method of detecting the Classical type tcpA gene of the Vibrio cholerae using real-time PCR.
