FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: swashplate drive comprises a stator gear wheel with a central stator axis and a plurality of stator teeth arranged on the inner cylindrical surface, a swashplate with a swing axis located at a non-zero swing angle relative to the stator axis, an engagement surface perpendicular to the swing axis, a plurality of face teeth located on the engagement surface and a plurality of swing teeth arranged around the perimeter of the swashplate and configured to engage with the stator teeth, and an output plate substantially aligned with the stator axis and provided with a plurality of output teeth configured to engage with the face teeth. At least two of said pluralities of teeth are configured to engage with each other with self-alignment so that when the swashplate nutates around the stator gear, the swing angle remains constant. Also proposed is a method for operating a swashplate drive.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics of the drive are provided.
