FIELD: cosmonautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, particularly to structures of spacecraft platforms (SCP). Self-contained SCP represents a truss structure in the form of a regular polygonal prism, honeycomb panels and power posts. Inner volume and the upper panel are designed to accommodate the service system module (SSM) instruments. SCP is equipped with a thermal control system, a solar battery drive, a separation device, propulsion systems of the correction system based on plasma engines and a stabilization system. On the upper panel there are zones of docking of interfaces of the SSM with a payload module (PM), as well as a truss for mounting a xenon tank.
EFFECT: possibility of assembly and development of SCP irrespective of PM, including during serial production of spacecraft.
