FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to anaesthesiology and proctology. Lateral sacral crest is visualized by ultrasound. Needle is attached to the neurostimulator. Current intensity of 2 mA is set on the neurostimulator. Needle stick point is determined at distance of 1 cm from the lower edge of the lateral sacral crest caudally. By controlling needle insertion using an ultrasound apparatus with a convex probe, the needle is advanced at angle of 75° in direction of lateral wall of ischio-rectal fossa to signs of stimulation of n.pudendus. 0.5% ropivacaine solution is introduced in 10 ml. Repeat on the other side.
EFFECT: method enables to perform long-term postoperative analgesia in anus and perineum in hemorrhoidectomy without loss of sensation and motor block of lower extremities.
