SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for pain relief before, during and after decompressive and stabilizing operations on the thoracic and lumbar spine in traumatic and degenerative changes. The method includes performing a bolus bilateral interfascial block of muscles that straighten the spine against the background of drug-induced sleep before the start of the operation, intraoperative installation of catheters, bolus administration of a drug mixture through the installed catheters in the postoperative period. A bolus bilateral interfascial block of the muscles that straighten the spine is performed at the level of 2 segments above the operation zone. The needle is inserted in the caudal direction at an angle of 45° in the direction of the transverse process, when its tip touches the surface of the transverse process of the vertebra, a bolus of 20 ml of a 0.375% solution of ropivacaine with 4 mg of dexamethasone is injected into the interfascial space. Interfascial catheters are installed under the muscle that straightens the spine after suturing the surgical wound on both sides. In the postoperative period, a bolus injection of 20 ml of a 0.2% solution of ropivacaine with 2 mg of dexamethasone is performed in each catheter 6 hours after the operation, then every 12 hours after the first injection for two days after the operation.

EFFECT: method provides adequate anesthesia due to influence on different mechanisms of pain syndrome formation.
