FIELD: laboratory equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laboratory equipment, which makes it possible to simulate rain of different intensity, with different drop rate in laboratory conditions, and can be used in analysis of soil samples in the process of studying erosion processes. Installation of rain simulation includes a water jet, the tank of which is connected to a water source, and a sprinkler installed with the possibility of being moved under action of water jet from water jet or under action of wind. Sprinkler is a perforated panel with drip-forming devices tightly inserted into perforation holes, suspended through angular brackets, flexible connectors and elastic elements to the column. Sprinkler is equipped with a force impact reflector installed diagonally above the sprinkler panel at angle of 55-75° to water jet.
EFFECT: providing mobility of the sprinkler in a suspended state as a result of cyclic action of water jets directed on it, which provides for non-uniform chaotic fall of rain drops, which imitates falling of natural precipitation.
