FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of environmental protection, in particular to means of monitoring the functional state of aquatic animals for environmental monitoring of the aquatic environment. Method for controlling the physiological state of bivalve molluscs involves placing the test animals with physiological state measuring devices in an aqueous medium, formation by measuring devices of electrical signals of physiological state of tested animals, amplification of obtained electric signals, analogue-to-digital conversion of their values, their input into a computer and storage for further processing. Each bivalve mollusc is placed on a removable element made with possibility of its rotation relative to the platform posts, to which the bivalve mollusc is attached. As a parameter of the electrical signal carrying information on the physiological state of the test animal, the amplitude or period or frequency of the electrical signal of the cardiac rhythm and change in the distances between the valves obtained from the cardiac rhythm sensors and the valve opening sensors are used. System for monitoring the physiological state of bivalve molluscs comprises a computer, measuring instruments of the physiological state of tested animals, amplifiers, connected by input to measuring instruments of physiological state of tested animals, and analogue-to-digital converter, connected by inputs to outputs of amplifiers, and by output – to computer. Besides, it is equipped with a platform with stands and detachable elements for placement of tested molluscs.

EFFECT: increased reliability of control of physiological state of bivalve molluscs.
