FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) destruction and can be used in military equipment, and specifically relates to the UAV multichannel optical-electronic detection systems and UAV destruction means. Method of striking an aerial target above an object involves detecting the aerial target from the ground, launching the carrier of the striking means from the ground, directing it to the aerial target and launching the means of striking at a given distance from the target. Stereoscopic optoelectronic system placed on the carrier is used, wherein target detection, determination of the distance to the target and its flight path, as well as the possibility of hitting the target, performing under the control of the stereoscopic optoelectronic system in the controlled airspace sector above the object, the vertical take-off of the carrier, its guidance to the aerial target, launching of a weapon at the specified distance to the target is carried out in an automatic mode under control of a stereoscopic optoelectronic system.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of countering enemy UAVs.
