FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument-making and can be used for measuring level of high-temperature heavy liquid metal heat carriers and melts of other metals in closed volumes, for example in reactor plants or nonferrous metallurgy tanks. Discrete static level gauge for measuring high-temperature liquid metal coolants contains a float with a permanent magnet, magnetically controlled contacts – reed relays placed in a vertically positioned case from a non-magnetic pipe welded from below, over the entire measurement range, connected via logical elements AND, NOT, an encoder and a decoder to a secondary device, is equipped with permanent magnet composed of high-temperature circular magnet, spacer grates to lock cooling tube from nonmagnetic steel with reed relays secured thereat inside the case, gas blower communicated with said cooling tube.
EFFECT: improving reliability of its operation at high temperatures of heavy liquid metal coolant and melts of other metals.
