SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation equipment. Method of indoor navigation using a radio navigation sensor consists in the fact that a room map is constructed, for which radio navigation sensors are installed inside the room, coordinates are referenced to them using a wearable portable device with software installed on it, a built-in television camera and gyroscopes, the wearable portable device in each corner of the room is alternately applied to each of the adjacent walls, and a geometric reference mark is placed on the opposite wall, or the portable wearable device is placed at a point from which all geometric reference marks are visible, the detection of which is carried out by pattern recognition, and the range is determined by a goniometric method from another selected point with known coordinates, the coordinates of radio navigation sensors and objects inside the room, which are obstacles to movement, are determined in a similar way, transmitting the coordinates of the radio navigation sensors and the room map through the communication module with the hardware-software complex of the local navigation system to the hardware-software complex of the local navigation system, having a computer based on a neural processor, determining the location of personnel and mobile robots moving inside buildings and structures due to a neural network implemented in a hardware-software system of a local navigation system.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of determining the location of personnel and mobile robots moving inside buildings and structures.
