SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to an article in the form of an inhaler and an inhalation system comprising an article in the form of an inhaler. Product has an end located upstream and an end located further downstream. Product comprises an upstream section containing an end plug. Product has a section located downstream, located downstream relative to the section located upstream of the flow and at a distance from the section located upstream. Downstream section comprises a filter segment. Resistance to draw per unit length of the filter segment is more than 0 millimetres of water per millimetre and less than 3 millimetres of water per millimetre. Filter segment can withstand a force of up to 15 newtons applied to its upstream end without deformation. Product includes a cavity defined between the upstream section and the downstream section. Cavity is configured to be in fluid communication with the outer part of the inhaler-like product. Product comprises a capsule containing an inhaled material, and the capsule is located in the cavity. System comprises an inhaler-shaped article and a holder for holding the inhaler-shaped article. Holder comprises a casing defining a casing cavity configured to receive an inhaler-like product, and a piercing element configured to pass into the casing cavity and pierce the capsule of the inhaler-like product.

EFFECT: creation of a product in the form of an inhaler, which is economical and fast to manufacture and which operates effectively, providing reliable consumption of the capsule during use to ensure a satisfactory sensation of the product in the form of an inhaler or an aerosol-generating product.
