FIELD: chemistry; measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to physical chemistry and electrochemistry of solid electrolytes and can be used to determine kinetic and equilibrium thermodynamic parameters of perovskite-like oxides with mixed oxygen-electron conductivity. Method of determining kinetic and equilibrium thermodynamic parameters of oxides with mixed conductivity involves using change in the pressure value of oxygen over the oxide as an oxide parameter directly related to the change in the amount of oxygen in the oxide. Analysed sample with mixed conductivity is placed in a reactor with a flow system, the sample is brought into equilibrium with oxygen in the gaseous phase, after which, stepwise, by means of a switch, changing the gas stream above the sample from the initial gas stream to the oxygen stream with the changed partial pressure or to the pure helium stream, wherein the change in the oxygen signal associated with the change in the amount of oxygen in the oxide depending on time is recorded, thereafter, said relationship is used for calculation of kinetic or equilibrium thermodynamic parameters of oxides with mixed conductivity.
EFFECT: possibility of evaluating both kinetic and equilibrium properties of perovskite-like oxides with mixed oxygen-electron conductivity in a wide range of pressure and temperature.
