FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to tobacco industry, in particular to systems simulating the tobacco smoking process. Electronic device for nicotine vaping comprises a nicotine reservoir. Wick is configured to draw the nicotine-containing vapor formulation from the reservoir. Heating element is configured to heat the finished composition for steam drawn from the reservoir. Wire probe is located along the length of the wick and is separated from the heating element by a wick. Saturation sensor is configured to measure one electrical characteristic of the wick between the heating element and the wire probe at the first moment in time. Electrical characteristic includes resistance and/or capacitance. Saturation sensor is configured to measure the electrical characteristic of the wick between the heating element and the wire probe at a second moment in time. Second moment in time is later relative to the first moment in time. Control circuit is configured to allow the electronic nicotine vaping device to calculate the replenishment rate, with which the nicotine-containing ready vapor composition flows on the wick, based on the electrical characteristic at the first moment in time and the electrical characteristic at the second moment in time. Control circuit is configured to determine that the replenishment rate is less than the threshold replenishment rate, and outputting a low level warning of the nicotine-containing finished vapor formulation in response to determining that the replenishment rate is less than the threshold replenishment rate. Disclosed is a version of an electronic device for vaping nicotine and a method for detecting exhaustion of a nicotine-containing finished vapor composition in a reservoir.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of control of control of the level of the finished composition for steam based on the rate of its replenishment in the tank.
