FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems, devices, methods and non-volatile machine-readable media associated with estimation and prediction of resistance in a stationary state for electronic devices for vaping nicotine. Electronic nicotine vaping device comprises a reservoir which contains a vapor precursor containing nicotine; a heating element configured to heat the nicotine-containing vapor precursor composition drawn from the reservoir; and a control circuit configured to monitor the resistance value of the heating element over a first period of time after the first application of negative pressure to said electronic device for vaping nicotine, determine the value of estimating the minimum resistance in the stationary state of the heating element for the first application of negative pressure based on the monitored resistance value using a trained neural network and control the supply of power to the heating element based on the value of the estimate of the minimum resistance in the stationary state for the first application of negative pressure, technical result is also achieved by a method of operating such an electronic device for vaping nicotine and another version of the electronic device for nicotine vaping, which additionally comprises a heater resistance monitoring circuit and a trained neural network.

EFFECT: protection against overheating of the electronic vaping device with nicotine.
