SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antistatic coatings and is meant for coating shells (housings) of articles used in an explosive environment. Antistatic lacquer coating consists of two layers, first layer is made in form of alkyd primer, second layer is made in form of acrylic enamel. Alkyd primer and acrylic enamel contain carbon nanotubes. Method of preparing the antistatic lacquer coating is also disclosed.

EFFECT: invention prevents formation of static discharge and enables to paint the disclosed coating in a wide range of colours without loss of antistatic properties.
