FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: agitator (20) is arranged and rotated in suction head (1) of vacuum cleaner and includes flexible cleaning elements (22) located on rod element (21) for contact with surface (2) to be cleaned. Cleaning elements (22) are located along the length of agitator (20) in cleaning field (23), wherein cleaning field (23) is interrupted by at least one air channel (26) configured to provide an air flow between inner edges (23a, 23b) of cleaning field (23), limiting at least one air channel (26). Outside of at least one air channel (26), cleaning elements (22) are located at close distance to each other, as a result of which the air flow between cleaning elements (22) is prevented or at most possible to a lesser extent than in the position of at least one air channel (26).
EFFECT: object of the invention is to ensure the possibility of using the flow restriction geometry in front of the suction head and the support on the dense structure of the arrangement of the cleaning elements on the suction head agitator, while enabling the suction head to remove dirt particles that may be present in front of the suction head.
