FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a packer and a method of installing a packer inside a well casing string. Packer includes shaft with shaped slot made on external surface in the form of longitudinal and inclined sections communicating with each other and having different length. On the shaft there is a cone which is formed due to difference of diameters of the shaft at the point of transition from a larger diameter to a smaller one. Shaft comprises a support in the upper part, located under the support sealing cups with possibility of axial movement relative to the shaft, under sealing cups there installed is thrust bushing with possibility of axial movement relative to the shaft; thrust bushing includes holes for dirt outlet and internal collar or projection interacting with projection on the shaft and restricting the downward movement of thrust bushing. On the shaft there is a mechanical anchor assembly with possibility of axial movement relative to the shaft, the mechanical anchor assembly comprises slots in the form of windows, in which spring-loaded slot stones are installed, spring-loaded to the shaft and arranged in such a way that, upon contact with the shaft cone during axial movement, they begin to be pushed in the radial direction outwards, over the edge of the outer diameter of the mechanical anchor assembly. Spring-loaded slot stones extending outward make diameter of circumscribed circle larger than outer diameter of mechanical anchor assembly to make thrust for anchor assembly against casing string pipe end. Spring-loaded slot stones contain a plank or a collar restricting the movement of the spring-loaded slot stone in a radial direction. In the mechanical anchor assembly a guiding pin is installed, placed in the shaped groove and interacting with it, on the housing of the mechanical anchor assembly grooves are made, in which spring-loaded bars are installed, fixed in the housing of the mechanical anchor assembly, performing the function of centralisers and braking of the mechanical anchor assembly during the interaction of spring-loaded bars with the casing string walls. Eliminating damage to the production string, the destruction of the annulus cement due to the exclusion of the wedge technology of the packer setting, excluding all possible negative consequences during the setting and disruption of the packer, reliability and simplicity of installation and detachment of the packer are provided, toothed oval sockets are excluded from the packer design due to which frequent problems with packer detachment and damage of the production string occur.
EFFECT: increased reliability, efficiency, wide range of technical capabilities, simplicity of design, possibility of repairability, ease of setting and unobstructed removal of the packer.
