Holder body comprises a body main part and a connection structure, connected to each other; connection structure includes a plug-in mating part. Elastic damping element comprises a mounting cylinder; mounting cylinder comprises an engine damping part; engine damping part and insert mating part are connected by insert and fixed in axial direction of mounting cylinder. Engine damping part includes a peripheral damping surface and an axial damping surface; plug-in mating part includes a peripheral mating surface and an axial mating surface, the peripheral mating surface is in contact with and connected to the peripheral damping surface in the axial direction, and the axial mating surface contacts and is connected to the axial damping surface in the axial direction.

EFFECT: reduced vibration and improved damping of vibrations of the electric toothbrush.
