SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering, in particular, to signalling systems actuated under certain condition, monitoring of contact sensors state, in particular, for monitoring of the state of “active edge” type contact sensor located in end rubber sealing profile of sliding plug doors. Method of monitoring the state of a contact sensor of the “active edge” type operates using a device comprising two optocouplers, two resistors and a common connection point of conductors A.
