FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and is a strain of endophytic bacteria Bacillus velezensis W017 as an agent for increasing plant productivity and protection thereof from diseases. Strain of endophytic bacteria Bacillus velezensis W017 is isolated from grains of winter wheat c. Bezostaya 100, growing on chernozem soil, Vedensky district, Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation, and is deposited in the Network bioresource collection in the field of genetic technologies for agriculture on 22.10.2024, under number RCAM 06997. It has been experimentally established that the Bacillus velezensis W017 strain is able to suppress the development of phytopathogenic fungi, the most dangerous pathogens of wheat root rot Fusarium solani 60519, Fusarium culmorum 58800, Fusarium oxysporum 60521, Bipolaris sorokiniana 60018, as well as development of various strains of phytopathogenic bacteria: Pectobacterium atrosepticum 5128, Clavibacter michiganensis 5351, Xanthomonas campestris 23, Pseudomonas syringae 8949. It has been experimentally confirmed that the Bacillus velezensis W017 bacteria strain has a growth-stimulating effect on various agricultural crops, incl. to lettuce, spring wheat, peas, small radish, potatoes.
EFFECT: disclosed strain increases productivity of agricultural plants and protection thereof from phytopathogenic microorganisms.
