FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials and specifically to pore-forming agents, and can be used in making foam concrete. Gas-forming additive for production of foamed concrete includes aluminium powder with specific surface area of 6,000-12,000 cm2/g and microsilica of regular spherical shape with particle size of about 0.1 mcm. In addition, additive contains TPP flue ash including 10-15 wt.% of said microsilica, besides, additive contains inert filler – limestone powder with average particle size of 100 mcm, at following ratio of components, wt.%: said aluminium powder 10-30, limestone flour 20-50, flue ash 20-60.
EFFECT: increase in the pores sizes homogeneity, possibility of the introduced blowing agent accurate operational adjustment depending on the varying production conditions and incoming raw materials properties for the foamed concrete production, reduction of dust formation; low content of aluminium powder in the gasifier does not prevent obtaining foamed concrete at density, but virtually eliminates fire and explosion hazard during transportation, does not require additional above-norm labour protection measures and reduces the cost of the end product.
