FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: electric motor includes a housing in the form of a cubic structure, in which rotors are mounted on shafts on each side of the housing. Each of the rotors is made in the form of a truncated cone formed from eight working electromagnetic segments in the form of trapezoids, placed with their wide base from the centre of the housing and connected in series to each other. Inside the housing there arranged is an additional housing block aligning and synchronizing rotation of rotors, and rotors are connected to each other by means of bevel gears installed on their shafts inside the housing block and made with possibility of free rotation around them. Electric motor is equipped with a position sensor and an electronic control unit configured to supply constant and varying polarity power to the rotors electromagnetic segments in response to a position sensor signal through the brushes and arranged on each of the rotors shafts and connected to the electromagnetic segments coils through the current-collecting rings solid and split into 8 parts.
EFFECT: electric motor design is proposed.
