FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for treating inflammatory diseases of parodentium and oral mucosa. Proposed method of treating inflammatory periodontal diseases and oral mucosa involves applying a gel on the basis of dry maral blood to the pathological focus area, wherein a gel form of the agent having the following composition is used, g: pantogematogen – 0.5-1.0, Carbomer-980 – 0.3-0.6, glycerol – 5.0-10.0, propylene glycol – 5.0-10.0, sodium hydroxide to pH=6-8, sorbitol 70% non-crystallising solution – 1.0-5.0, flavouring agent Etol coffee cognac – 0.1-0.5, ethanol 95% – 1.0-3.0, menthol – 0.001-0.003, purified water – up to 100.0. Gel is applied in a uniform layer of 1 mm by course application for 14 days, 2 times a day after tooth brushing.
EFFECT: use of the method provides the effective treatment of inflammatory diseases due to the integrated therapeutic effect on the inflamed tissues and, as a result, reduces the length of treatment and prolongs the period of remission of the disease.
