FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to vehicles operating on gas, and relates to natural gas pressure stabilization in fuel lines of automobile vehicles. Method of controlling vehicle fuel gas pressure consists in that when internal combustion engine is switched on emptying valve (5) opens, resulting in supply of fuel gas from expansion cavity (3) in fuel main gas line and expansion-mixing cavity (6). When expansion-mixing cavity (6) is filled, fuel gas flow occurs in both directions, which leads to closure of check valve (2). When fuel gas reserve in expansion cavity (3) is exhausted or pressure rises in the above main gas line above the pressure level in expansion cavity (6), check valve (2) opens, providing fuel gas supply to injector and closure of expansion cavity emptying valve (5). When pressure in the main gas line is increased to the pressure equal to the pressure of the gas reducer, valve (4) for filling expansion cavity (3) opens. When pressures in expansion cavity (3) are balanced with the working pressure in the main gas line, filling valve (4) closes, providing for the gas reserve storage till the moment of its use. Also disclosed is a vehicle fuel gas pressure regulator.
EFFECT: prevention of fuel starvation of internal combustion engine.
