FIELD: luminescence defectoscopy. SUBSTANCE: penetration agent comprises 1,8-naphtoylene--benzimidazole as luminophor, kerosene as solvent and wetting agent; wherein monoalkylphenyl ether of polyethylene being used as wetting agent and 2(3),5(6)-dibenzotoluene is additionally used as solvent. Penetration agent comprises, mas.-%: 1,8-naphtoylene--benzimidazole, 0.7-0.8; monoalkylphenyl ether of polyethylene glycol, 4.5-5.5; 2(3), 5(6)-dibenzotoluene, 69-74; kerosene, the balance. EFFECT: improved reliability of detecting defects having opening less than 1 μm on metal surfaces.
