FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: passenger car window emergency exit has drop pack 1, pressure frame with upper shaft 3 and lower shaft 4 with pressure members 5. Shafts are connected with tie-rods 7 by levers 6. Tie-rods are coupled with common handle 8 and safety clamp 9. Tie-rods have turnbuckles 10. Shafts are secured in pressure frame by means of supports 11. Angle plate 12 is fastened in lower part of drop pack. Window is additionally locked in closed position by means of angle plate, spring-loaded detent 13 and stop 14 on lower shaft. Mounted on upper portion of drop window pack is conventional window handle latch 15. Sealing strip is laid over perimeter of window aperture. Pressure frame is furnished with seals 17.
