FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: general blood analysis is carried out each 2-3 days by taking 1 mcl blood sample from cancer patients subjected to chemotherapy followed by determination of an absolute counts of white blood cells in such blood sample using the formula x=(a·b):100%, wherein x - absolute lymphocyte counts; a - leukocyte counts in 1 mcl blood sample; b - % lymphocyte content. Normal is x=1000-3150. Complications that need variations in treatment are predicted at x≅ 700. Chemotherapy of a patient is ceased at x≅ 500. EFFECT: allows one to detect complications at their early development stage. 1 tbl
