FIELD: medical science.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to paediatric oncology-haematology, and can be used for assessing the clinical effectiveness in Hodgkin's lymphoma in pubertal boys. Peripheral blood is examined for red and white blood elements 2 weeks after each course of anticancer therapy by general clinical analysis. Systemic immune-inflammation index – SII is calculated. At value of SII ≤ 550 standard units, therapy is considered to be effective. At value of SII > 550 standard units, therapy is considered to be ineffective.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of simple and economical assessment of the effectiveness of therapy of Hodgkin's lymphoma in boys of puberty by determining the Systemic immune-inflammation index – SII, obtained on the basis of neutrophils, lymphocytes and thrombocytes, using a minimum amount of the analysed material and avoiding the need for additional blood sampling when the patient comes out of leukopenia, which enables the timely correction of diagnosis and treatment of oncological disease.
