FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, control of thyristor pulse converters of alternating voltage. SUBSTANCE: electric load of converting gates and loads is measured by means of detectors 9 and 31. Oscillator 11 outputs clock pulse to measuring unit 10. When electric load of converter differs from pre-set value, input of integrator 6 receives constant error constituent of control. Said error is integrated and accumulated in output signal of integrator in low-pass filter 6. When signal at output of integrator and input of relay gate 8 reaches threshold for switching the state of relay 8, it is switched and thyristors 1 are either switched ON or OFF. Detector 31 is used for generation of signal for alternation of its electric load and nearest pulse interval of its operations. For this interval the threshold value is determined. Adder 30 outputs signal which is proportional to this value. When logical unit 23 operates for control of integrators, it outputs priority signals for switching converters to input of multiplexers 26 which send them to adder 27 which provides their comparison to threshold value. Signal from output of adder 27 is sent to register 28 where it is stored till end of interval. This value is used for generation of next signal.
