FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: flexible tubular member 2 accommodates in its center part first force-inducing member 4 made as rod with spherical support 5. End 15 of flexible member 2 has annular lug 34 joined with second force-inducing member 36. Force-inducing member 4 moves up under the action of force applied to transducer and carries away center part 3 of tubular member. Force P2 equal in magnitude to force P1 and directed downwards is transmitted from second force-inducing member 36 to U-shaped ribs joined to tubular member 2. Tensile and compression strain of tubular member are summed up due to connecting resistance strain gages 11-14 and 16-19 into bridge circuit in pairs and in alternating order. Error brought in measurement results due to ambient temperature fluctuations is compensated for by means of vessel 39 filled with liquid inside transducer. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, due to provision for measuring variable-polarity loads, improved measurement accuracy. 3 dwg
