FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of synthesis of phosphorus-nitrogen-containing compounds, in part, methods of synthesis of cyclic dichloro-phoshazenes of the general formula: (NPCl2)n, where n > 3. Method involves interaction of phosphorus pentachloride with ammonium chloride of the formula: where R is H, CH3 used as a catalyst in the amount 0.2-0.02 mole/mole phosphorus pentachloride. Invention can be used in chemical industry for production of thermostable, incombustible polymers, plastics and other compounds. EFFECT: increased content of trimer in a mixture of solid cyclic isomers, accelerated reaction process. 1 tbl
