FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing cyclic halophosphazenes. Cyclic halophosphazenes of general formula (PX2= N)n, where n = 3÷16, X = Cl or Br, are obtained by reacting oligomeric halophosphazaphosphonium salts of general formula [X(PX2= N)n-1-PY3]+A or [PX3=N-PY3]+A, where A=PY6- or Cl-, and X and Y=Cl, Br and hexaalkyldisilazane HN (SiR3)2 in an inert solvent.

EFFECT: method is characterized by low amount of used solvent and possibility of performing synthesis at room temperature.
