FIELD: measuring technique. SUBSTANCE: method consists in use of two regimes of registration. When rate of band shift exceeds first threshold level V1, modulation of interference order with period Tm is disengaged, and when rate of shift of bands reduces down to second threshold level V2, modulation is engaged. In this case 0<V2<V1<0,33Tm. During registration, shifting bands are transformed into pulse train, their number is determined, and value of change of interference order P is determined by formula given in invention description. EFFECT: higher speed of registration and improved accuracy of measurement. 4 dwg
