FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: plant includes the mold 1, mounted on the radial beams 5, rotatable relative the axle 6 of the support 7. Behind the mold 1 on an uprising portion of an apparatus of a secondary cooling zone the water coolable shoes 8,9 are mounted on radial beams 8,9 with possibility of rotation around the axle 6. The radial beams 5,8,9 are mutually joined by a rigid fashion with the aid of connecting members 12, 13. The supporting rollers 14 are arranged between the water coolable shoes 10, 11. The uprising portion of the apparatus of the secondary cooling zone is rigidly fastened with a descending portion of that apparatus by the tore-like guide 15, mounted on the radial beams 16, rotatable relative to the axle 6. The rollers 17 for supporting a billet, being cast, are mounted in the guide 15. The rollers 17 have radially directed axis. The toothed sector 18 is rigidly secured to the guide 15, and it engages with the drive 19, allowing to realize reciprocation motion of that sector along an are of a circle. EFFECT: lowered cost of making and maintaining the plant due to simplified equipment of the secondary cooling zone and an increased service period of the plant between its restoration periods. 1 cl, 1 dwg
