FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: After hollow shell is drawn out of crystallizer 2, by one drawing step, they exercise feeding of molten metal 3 from ladle-pneumatic setter through metal chute 1 during first turn from below into crystallizer 2. In the case, molten metal 3 meniscus 6 is raised in crystallizer 2 by distance, exceeding length of drawing step by value equal to clearance between tail part of formed blank shell and walls of crystallizer 2. Then they hold pause, duration of which corresponds to time, required for molten metal 3 hardening in the clearance. At walls of crystallizer 2 this time formation of firm skin 7. Then second turn of molten metal 3 feeding into crystallizer 2 and earlier formed shell 4 of blank 5 is exercised. Molten metal 3 meniscus 6 then is raised by distance, that is multiple to step of blank drawing from crystallizer 2 and within set duration second layer of blank shell is formed on the part, that was earlier drawn from crystallizer. EFFECT: increased productivity and quality of cast blanks. 6 cl, 6 dwg
