FIELD: acceleration equipment. SUBSTANCE: ventilation ducts oriented along axis of magnetic circuit are made in central part 4 of poles, in combs 5, over sector joints of central inserts and over joints of yokes 2. Given ventilation ducts realize two functions simultaneously. By passing of cooling agent through ducts effective cooling of magnetic circuit is ensured. Apart from it availability of azimuthal-periodic spaces in the form of ducts in magnetic circuit changes azimuthal structure of driving magnetic field. Periodic over azimuth change of sizes of ducts makes it possible to optimize azimuthal-harmonic structure of magnetic field and to raise radial and vertical stability of accelerated particles and therefore current of beam and power of radiation dose. EFFECT: increased power of radiation dose of betatron thanks to rise of focusing forces and improvement of cooling conditions of magnetic circuit. 3 dwg
