SUBSTANCE: cylindrical metal case 1 of capacitor accommodates additional current lead 11 in the form of hollow cylindrical shell placed under bottom cylindrical section 4 and holding inside expansion device 12 connected to air duct in the form of hollow current lead 13. Fast high-voltage power capacitor rated 30 000 V, 1,0·10-6 Ф F may be made in steel pipe having outer diameter of 0.114 m and wall thickness of 0.07 m. Its capacitance is twice as high as that of prototype and its mechanical design ensures its operation in holes as deep as 5 km while functioning as bearing part of electrohydraulic device.
