FIELD: acceleration equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at reduction of radial emittance of extracted beam which is achieved by elimination of energy dispersion generated by interaction of particles with target. Beam of particles circulating in ring is slowly guided on to target 3 with the aid of bump magnets 4 installed in cofocal points relative to target. Particles which lost portion of their kinetic energy in target continue their motion over ring and hit basic septum magnet 5 located at distance equal to half- period of radial betatron oscillations from target. In this case value of dispersion function on azimuth of septum magnet 5 equals zero. Proposed method makes it possible to relative slow extraction of particles from ring structure of small value of cross-section of phase exchange. Drawing demonstrates rotary magnet 1, quadrupole lenses 2, directions 6 and 7 of beam deflection, additional septum magnet 8, direction 9 beyond limits of ring structure, additional bump magnets 10. EFFECT: reduced radial emittance of extracted beam of charged particles. 1 dwg
