FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: binder contains 82-92% by weight of lignosulfonates (commercial), 8-18% by weight of still-remainder of periodic distillation of caprolactam based on aqueous solution of caprolactam. Mixture contains 95% by weight of quartz sand and 5% by weight of binder. It allows strength of casting molds and cores in hot state to be increased by 1.8-2 times. EFFECT: improved quality of casting molds and cores by increased strength in hot state, wider source of raw materials of modifiers for commercial lignosulfonates, increased output of core manufacturing automatic machines. 2 tbl
