FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: composition has isopropyl alcohol dissolved in water at a volume ratio 1:1, binder 10 dissolves in kerosene at the similar volume ratio and process additive; as solidification catalyst included is acidic waste of monochloroamine production. The rations of the above-mentioned ingredients are as follows (percent by weight) 2.0-2.6 of commercial grade lignosulfonates, 0.2-0.4 of modifier, 0.3-0.5 acid waste of monochloroamine production, 0.4-0.8 of phenolic alcohols, 0.5-0.9 of isopropyl alcohol dissolved in water at a 1:1 volume ratio, 0.1-0.3 of binder "KO" dissolved in kerosene at 1:1 volume ratio; 0.4-0.6 of process additive the balance being quartz sand. As modifiers serve organic synthesis residues dissolved in water at a volume ratio ranging from 6 to 1. The process additive has the form of iron minium. EFFECT: lower number of defective cores and molds, increased efficiency of operating core-making machines due to higher fail safety and reduced wet strength of the composition. 2 tbl
